Lilac Wood & Repair (formerly Neza Works) is a father-and-son workshop in downtown Lombard — eight years serving the Lilac Village, twenty years of carpentry, and 40+ homes' worth of custom builds, decks, doors, and repairs.

§ 04 — Our story
Father and son, one workshop, eight years in Lombard.
Lilac Wood & Repair — formerly known as Neza Works — is owned by David Hernandez, with his father Juan as head carpenter. Between them they bring twenty years of carpentry experience and eight years of serving Lombard homeowners under the “Lombard Handyman” name.
They work out of 531Workshop on S Lewis Ave — the same shop where they've built custom fireplace mantles, cabinets, valances, boxes, outdoor furniture, and full bathroom renovations for more than 40 neighbors so far.
In 2028 they're opening a walk-in shop in downtown Lombard where anyone can stop by to browse finished pieces or design custom woodwork in person. Until then, the workshop door is open by appointment — text a photo and they'll take it from there.
